You want to look
and feel truly beautiful on your wedding day. This is not the day to just
hope that you have a ‘good hair day’, and it is definitely not the day to
open and use that new pallet of eye-shadow that you picked out last week. You
have probably put a lot of time and energy into making sure that every last
detail of the wedding is arranged: the gown, the venue and setting, the
bridal party, the photography and so on. So don't forget that the
surroundings you have worked so hard to create should also include a relaxed
and beautiful bride. Consider having a professional wedding make up artist
come to you on the big day, so that you can have a morning of relaxation and
a beautiful wedding day look created that will be preserved forever in your
wedding photographs and video. I am pleased to
introduce you to my ‘Beautiful Brides’ service. I can provide you and your
wedding party with a skin care and make-up service designed to help preserve this
very special day. SKIN CARE Make-up starts with
great skin. Book your FREE skin care consultation class with me ASAP so that
you can try the Mary Kay products and develop a skin care regime that will
ensure your skin is in the best possible condition ready for your wedding
day. I am quite happy to visit you at home either on your own or you may
include members of your bridal party, friends or family so that they can also
benefit and make it a fun, interesting and informative class. At the end of your skincare class, we can
discuss the look you wish to obtain for your Wedding Day and book a day for
your trial make-up. Don’t forget your
bridesmaids and the mums too!! MAKE UP TRIAL - Tips
On Getting The Most For Your Money! 1. If possible, wear
a zip up or button down shirt for your consultation or appointment so as not
to mess up your hair or clothing. 2. Be vocal. Don't
be shy about what you want. Maybe collect cuttings from magazines showing a
look that you might want to try. 3. Be honest. Let
me know your likes and dislikes. I will be able to offer advice, ideas and
alternatives to suit your look. 4. Be alert. Let
me know in advance about any skin allergies you may have, so precautions can
be taken. 5. Enjoy being
pampered! This is a great opportunity for you to learn about what type of
make-up and skin care work for you. 6. Allow 1Hr+ for
your own Make up trial and 30-45 minutes for each member of your wedding
party who will also be having a trial. ON YOUR WEDDING DAY I will arrive at your
preferred location and take care of all yours and your bridal party's make-up
needs. Just relax and take a deep breath, you're in good hands! There's no extra charge for Sunday
weddings or early starts and a tiny amount of make up for flower girls is
complimentary. On the day, the
remaining balance, minus the deposit, must be paid in full and this can be
either in cash or by cheque. ~ Whether you are using my services or not, here’s a list of
things to bear in mind and others to avoid in the build up to the wedding
day: * Avoid substances that could give you oily
skin, swelling and irritation. These include red meat, alcohol, caffeine,
spicy or deep fried foods. * Remember to drink lots of water to keep
hydrated and flush out toxins * Avoid using Retin A and Alpha Hydroxy creams
prior to the wedding day. They may cause skin peeling, flaking and irritation
that will show up in your photographs. * Exfoliate your skin two days before your
wedding. * Have your brows professionally shaped at
least two days prior to the wedding day. Nice brows are very important
because they frame the face. * Refresh your hair colour a week before the
wedding. Get rid of dark roots and split ends * Remove all traces of makeup the night before
your wedding. Avoid dry lips and scaly looking lipstick by exfoliating your
lips and putting a lip balm on your lips before bed and the morning of your
wedding (I have the ideal product for this). Your face should be clean and
product free when the make-up artist arrives * If you’re not hiring a make-up artist for the whole wedding day make sure you have a lipstick, lip-liner and blotting sheets with you to touch up when needed. |
